We actually met on a blind date...on Valentine's Day in 2008. Our friends Jerry and Cheryl were dating and thought it would be a good idea if we went out. The first date went well, but we decided to remain friends instead of pursuing a romantic relationship. Our courtship began years later. In 2017, Olbin popped the question after dinner at Villa Del Palmar resort in Cancun, Mexico.
