Love is funny. Love is fate. Love is abstract and unknown. Love often arrives from origins least expected, sneaking up where one is not looking. Ben and Taylor’s love story is no different. Their story starts long after their first meeting. It had been years of crossed paths and cordial hellos, their mutual friends bringing them so close time and time again but without a second thought about it. That is until one fateful day when Ben helped a mutual friend with a move. He showed up that morning to pack a U-Haul and drive across town to unload—a favor for a friend and no other expectations on his mind. Taylor found herself by chance at the new home, perfectly timed to sit aside and watch as Ben flexed his muscles moving furniture in the morning sun. She was smitten, making small talk with him as he caught his breath between trips to the truck. After a few short interactions in the back and forth, Taylor had heard enough of Ben’s quick wit and sharp commentary… she was interested. Outside of Ben’s earshot, she whispered, “He’s cute,” and the rest is history. Ben and Taylor had their first date on Cinco de Mayo with Ben’s dog, Lawford, in tow. Though she was crushing hard on Ben, Lawford sealed the deal over a couple of margaritas (and some treats). Since then, Taylor and Ben have grown together, forming an inseparable bond that has brought them to this point today. They have come to know each other better than they thought they knew themselves, and it is now that they know they cannot be without each other. They are unmistakably in love and undoubtedly perfect for one another. Tulum holds a special place in their hearts, making it the perfect place to say "I do." For Taylor, Mexico has always felt like a second home—growing up, she spent summers there and fell in love with the culture, the people, and the lifestyle. For Ben, it was their first big vacation together and his first time outside the United States, making it a destination filled with unforgettable memories.
