Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

If you are joining us from Singapore, please RSVP as soon as you are able to and in any case by 31 August 2026, so that we can make the necessary hotel and shuttle transport arrangements.

how do i get to the wedding venue?

Answer

For our overseas guests, we will be arranging shuttle transportation to pick up all guests at our recommended hotel, Fraser Place Namdaemun Seoul, at 3.15pm. If you prefer to stay at another hotel, you are welcome to make your way to Fraser Place Namdaemun Seoul for the shuttle as well. However, if you prefer to take public transport or you happen to be out for the day, Hayes Garden will run a free shuttle service from 3:30pm until 7:30pm for our guests. The shuttle will depart from Yangjae Citizen Forest subway station (양재시민의 숲역). Otherwise, if you prefer to go to the wedding venue at your own time, taxi is always a good option. We recommend downloading the Kakao T app to order a cab or ask your hotel front desk if there is a nearby taxi stand. We also recommend writing the address down in Korean to show the cab driver the exact location (Address: 헤이스가든, 서울특별시 서초구 신흥안길 40-15).

what is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. As our ceremony and dinner reception will be taking place in an outdoor garden, please make sure to layer up. You are welcome to wear any colours, with the exception of white, ivory or beige, which are reserved for the bride. Thank you for your understanding.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

While we wish we could include everyone, we can only accommodate those specifically invited, due to space constraints with our venue. However, if you need to bring a plus-one, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate.

how do i get back to my hotel?

Answer

We have arranged shuttle transportation for all guests back to our recommended hotel, Fraser Place Namdaemun Seoul, at 8.30pm and at 10pm. For guests who would like to leave after the dinner reception, please take the first shuttle at 8.30pm. For guests who would like to join us for the afterparty, please take the second shuttle at 10pm. If you have to leave earlier for any reason, Hayes Garden's free shuttle service will run until 7.30pm and will drop you off at Yangjae Citizen Forest subway station (양재시민의 숲역). You could also try booking a taxi but it might be challenging to get a taxi from Hayes Garden as it is quite out of the way.

When should I fly in?

Answer

You are welcome to book your flight for any date before 10 April 2027, but we would recommend you land by the morning of 10 April 2027 at the latest, so that you have enough time to get to the hotel and settle in before our shuttle arrives at 3.15pm. We also encourage our overseas guests to take this opportunity to extend their stay and explore Korea as it is the season of cherry blossoms!
