Can you imagine the odds for two complete strangers running into each other? We come from different background, family, education, and career, you name it. The one thing we share is a friend who we both know and it is the one and only friend building the bridge for us. We did not see each other in person right away. We began to exchange text messages from time to time and the first date happened one month after. Well, things began to spice up since the second date. Henry invited me over for dinner. The whole atmosphere was just so right. I sat next to the dining table and drank a glass of wine while watching him cooking for me. If I have to use one word to describe that moment, I will say “Home”.
Attending one Jacky Cheung's concert was on my bucket list. I purchased the tickets and booked a trip for us to Las Vegas as soon as I heard Jacky gonna hold a couple there. Henry was so cool in the weekend getaway preparation process, committing himself totally in those certification exams. One night, he asked me very casually how I wanted to spend the night before the concert and I told him the observation wheel LINQ has was in my mind. There we go, on a normal Saturday night, standing in the mid-air with the city of stars lighting up the night, he was down on the knee and put the most beautiful ring on my finger. "YES" and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in San Fran!
