Qiana's Story: Qiana was working at a gas station on Clarksville Highway called Kwik Sak. Zarale came into the store with a mutual friend of theirs. When Zarale got there he saw Qiana and pretended to be cool like he was not interested. Prior to leaving the gas station Zarale did a triple take to come back in and get her phone number. They reconnected five years ago after Zarale had experienced a bad breakup and rekindled their friendship. That friendship grew into a relationship and now they are on getting ready to be married. Zarale's Story In the year of 1999, while hanging out with a friend from church, we made a pit stop at the local Kwik Sak on Clarksville Hwy. Behind the register was a young lady that kept getting my attention. To make a long story short we exchanged numbers and that was the beginning of a relationship that was not expected. Throughout the years we would continue to cross paths. Then one day while working at Vanderbilt Medical Center I got an e-mail from an old friend. From that point on we stayed in touch with each other. While going through a transition in my life Ms. Corbin became a very important person in my life. She helped me grow into the man I am and I am looking forward to making her my wife.
We were at the Femme it Forward tour with Qiana's favorite artist Monica. When Monica started singing one of the songs Zarale likes, Love All Over Me, he pulled Qiana over toward him. They were dancing and then Zarale pulled the ring out of his jacket pocket and got on one knee. Qiana was in disbelief but she said "Yes!"
