Future Mr. & Mrs. Agrimson

Our story didn’t start with one big, life-changing moment—it started with a lot of little ones. For years, Ben and I crossed paths without even realizing it. From county fairs and bonfires to random get-togethers with friends, we were often in the same place at the same time. It wasn’t until the summer of 2022, when Ben was hanging out more with my brother Austin, that we really started to notice each other. We began seeing each other more and more, and I quickly realized how easy it was to be around him. There was just something about him that clicked with me right away. The first time we truly hung out happened because Ben said he needed a new show to watch—and I told him he should start Stranger Things. Of course, I invited myself over under the excuse that I needed to help explain it. (Let’s be honest—I didn’t.) But that one night turned into something so much more. We started spending more time together, talking constantly, and before long, I knew there was something different about him. By the end of the summer, he asked me to be his girlfriend, and I couldn’t have been happier. Not long after that, we started doing long distance while I was away at school. It wasn’t always easy, but he never made it feel hard. We called all the time, visited as much as we could, and made the most of every moment we had together—especially all the fun memories in Brookings, South Dakota. I always had this feeling that no matter the miles between us, we were solid. And we were. In March of 2025, while on a cruise with our families, Ben got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was perfect, simple, and everything I ever hoped for. Somewhere along the way, we also became dog parents to our first baby, Jack. We adopted him from Brookings, and he’s been the heart of our little family ever since. I honestly can’t imagine our life without him. Now here we are, getting ready to celebrate our wedding day with the people we love most. I feel so lucky to have found someone who encourages me, supports me, and brings out the very best in me—and I can’t wait to begin this next chapter together.
