FAQs

Question

Can we bring our children or a plus-one?

Answer

Everyone who is invited to our wedding will have received a personally addressed invitation. Your invitation will specify whether you are entitled to a plus-one.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal. We ask that our guests dress in their best to celebrate our big day. Please refrain from wearing colours reserved for the bride, such as white, ivory or cream. The ceremony will be held on grass, so maybe rethink wearing stiletto heels.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Spring in Central Otago can be unpredictable. We hope the weather holds out for our day, however, the ceremony and photos will be taken outside so it may be a good idea to bring an extra layer. Our reception will be held inside so if the weather is awful there will be a chance to get out of it.

Question

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

We do not have a gift registry as we do not expect anyone to provide us with gifts. Your gift of love and support is all we need on our special day.

Question

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking available if you plan to drive your own car to the venue. You can leave your car safely overnight and collect it the next day if needed.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We will be serving canapes following the ceremony, and our sit-down dinner will be buffet style, followed by dessert. There will be something for everyone to enjoy. Please advise on your RSVP if you have any dietary requirements and we will do our best to cater to these.

Question

Are pictures allowed during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our ceremony "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day. Our photographers will be capturing the special moments on camera and we will be more than will to share these with you after the wedding. Photos after the ceremony are more than welcome to be taken on phones and other devices, we encourage you share any photos you take with the bride and groom.
