Natalie & Kyle's relationship had a truly millennial beginning, they met on a dating app. It was right after Christmas and Natalie decided to try online dating, yet again, and Kyle had been on Hinge since moving back to Houston. Kyle's profile stood out to her because she immediately noticed his handsome smile, beautiful blue eyes, and his picture was of him somewhere snowy (that also appeared to be a seemingly recent picture of him). The prompt that accompanied his picture was "Leave me a comment if you want to meet here" so after they matched, Natalie reached out and asked "Where are we going?" The conversation was going so well that despite Natalie's fear of becoming a cautionary tale of meeting men online, she gave him her number. It didn't take long for Kyle to text her to meet for happy hour the next day, December 30th at Eight Row Flint. Although Kyle was concerned about having recently shaved his head and letting Natalie know that he wasn't trying to catfish her, they immediately hit it off. They talked for hours and Natalie was pleasantly surprised when Kyle ended the date at an appropriate time in the evening. After that, they were both apprehensive due to the fact that the date had almost gone too well, so they agreed a second date would be imperative. (Mostly just to confirm it wasn't the happy hour drinks that caused them to get along so well) The next day, Kyle made the very bold move to invite Natalie to spend New Years Eve with him and a few of his best friends from college, Colin and Alex. At the time, Colin and Alex lived less than a quarter of a mile away from Natalie so she took it as a sign that she made the right decision by joining. They ended up at Christian's Tailgate, which was surprisingly empty, and although Natalie was nervous to already be meeting Kyle's friends, she was immediately endeared to them. From then on out, Natalie and Kyle spent very little time apart and now here we are.
