We're getting married!

We met on a Saturday afternoon at a marching band contest. Aaron was teaching Garrard County Percussion and Emily was teaching the Tates Creek Color Guard. Emily noticed Aaron walking past her warm-up because he "looked like he marched drum corps." We introduced ourselves in the hospitality room at the contest while talking to a mutual friend. As we were both leaving the contest Emily added Aaron on Facebook. She sent him a quick message, "It was nice meeting you today," and the rest is history. Aaron claims to have been searching for Emily at the same time he got her message.

Aaron proposed to Emily on the white sandy beaches of Anna Maria Island at Sunset on the last day of their Florida vacation. A beautiful ending to a perfect week.

I want to say thank you in advance to everyone on our guest list... Each and every one of you has been an integral part of our lives, old friends and new friends alike. We have a very fun night planned, and hope that everyone is looking forward to it as much as we are. Our goal for the wedding is to be surrounded by love and support from the people we care about most. During our planning, we have tried to make convenience a priority.
