COVID 19 Update

In light of the ongoing pandemic, we wanted to let everyone know that we will still be getting married on October 2nd, 2020, even if it ends up being a private ceremony with just the two of us at the courthouse. As always, everyone’s health and safety has been our number one priority as we continue to try and plan for the unexpected. With that said, our event will be much more intimate than we had originally anticipated. Unfortunately, this means that some of our beloved family and friends that originally received a Save the Date from us will no longer be receiving an invitation. We are so sorry and we hope you can understand that this was a heartbreaking decision for us to make. If you are one of the close friends or relatives that does receive an invitation, please DISREGARD the RSVP deadline noted on the card and instead return the RSVP card AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Preferably, within a week of receiving your invite. This will allow us to more easily handle the ever-changing restrictions that the City of Chicago has imposed and determine if it might be possible to send out invitations to more guests. We realize that this is an incredibly unorthodox request and under normal circumstances, we would never dream of asking this of our guests. However, given the unprecedented situation we find ourselves in, we appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation. With love, Hannah & J

Ten Years in the Making...

Hannah has been such a fixture in J.Michael’s life, and J.Michael has been such a constant in Hannah’s, that it’s hard to remember what it was like before our paths crossed. From sitting in that first math class together in high school, all the way to opening a joint checking account and planning a wedding, it’s been a ten year epic saga. That story has been filled with love, respect, and laughter since the very beginning, and we can’t wait to begin the next chapter together. We’re so excited to share the start of that new chapter with all of our amazing friends and family on Friday, October 2nd, 2020 in the city that we love so much and call home - Chicago, Illinois. It’s going to be an absolute blast! With love, Hannah & J.Michael

A Note From the Bride

I want to thank each and every one of my family members and friends - you all have helped shape me into the person I am today. That’s a person who I’ve grown to love and who, despite all of my flaws, J.Michael has loved all along. To my perfectly imperfect parents, my baby sister, all of my amazing aunts, uncles, and cousins (who I’m incredibly lucky to say that I’m so close to), my grandparents, all of my crazy childhood buddies that I grew up with, all of the genuine people that I’ve met along the way and who I’m proud to call my friends, and the wonderful group of my soon to be in-laws - thank you for everything you’ve done for me. If this seems like an acceptance speech for some award, I suppose that’s because it is - J.Michael is the greatest prize of my life and I’m forever grateful that he’s the one who I get to share the rest of my life with.

A Note From the Groom

Hannah has helped me become the man I am today. Without her I would not have been able to get to where I am or have achieved the goals I have reached so far in my life. Despite all of the things we have been through, I know that we make a great partnership. I am so excited that I will soon be able to call her my wife. I’d also like to thank all of the friends and family that have been a major influence in our lives. We have all gone through some pretty life altering events within the last couple of years and nothing is more important than your loved ones. I look forward to spending an epic night with all of you!
