We’re getting married!

Grayson and Delaney met at her older twin sister's 30th birthday party in Lake Tahoe on June 1, 2018. The twins went to college with Grayson in Santa Cruz and had been good friends with him for the past 10 years. As soon as Grayson walked through the door, Delaney took notice. She had seen photos of Grayson and maybe even been in the same room as him before but he looked different this time. She was immediately drawn to him. Delaney and Grayson spent the night playing King’s Cup with their friends and then spent the next day at the Zephyr Cove beach together. This connection felt different and exciting for both of them. Before meeting each other in June 2018, they had given up on finding love. They had both deleted their dating apps and stopped actively searching. They so desperately wanted to find a natural connection. Instead of dating, they focused on themselves. They learned, they grew and when the time was right, they found each other in Lake Tahoe. Grayson invited Delaney to come to Greece with him that weekend he met her. He had his first solo trip coming up at the end of June with a flight booked into Zagreb and a flight out of Athens two weeks later. Maybe he was crazy to invite her, maybe she was crazy to say yes—but they went to Greece and quickly fell in love. Grayson asked Delaney to be his girlfriend on June 28, 2018 during sunset in Santorini. Romantics might say it was love at first sight. We say it was just meant to be. They got engaged on December 27, 2019 in Lake Tahoe, where it all began,
