Travel Note

A few tips

Please note that our wedding is taking place approximately 1 hour (without traffic) north of San Francisco. The roads get windy as you approach Stinson Beach, as a caution for all those who suffer from motion sickness. Dramamine is highly recommended--the view is worth it, we promise! Although we love the city, we do recommend that our guests try to stay in Stinson Beach if possible. It may be difficult to get a Lyft/Uber late at night back from the reception to the city, as Stinson Beach is a small town. Check out our travel recommendations below.

Flight

SFO or OAK

San Francisco (SFO) & Oakland (OAK) are both options. SFO is 35 miles south of the wedding venue, while OAK is 45 miles southeast. Expect a 60-90 minute drive from either airport. In terms of traffic, whichever airport you fly into requires a bridge crossing which can experience some congestion so please plan accordingly.

Rental Car

Getaround

Rental cars or Getaround (think AirBnb for cars) are the recommended means of transportation. You can use the following link for a $20 Getaround credit: https://www.getaround.com/invite/3fd8712b-2d4f-5db6-bac6-a4c0a1dfa3bc Ubers and Lyfts are an option, especially since Stinson Beach is very walkable, but plan to spend $60-$80 each way from SFO or OAK. PLEASE let Delaney & Grayson know if you are planning to drive to the wedding (no drinking for you!), there is limited parking for 30 cars at the house and we will need to plan accordingly.

Sandpiper Inn

The Sandpiper is a 90 second walk to our venue! There are limited accommodation options in Stinson Beach, but we hope most guests can stay here if they choose.
