Unofficially, we met in the Fall of 1999 at Old Forge Elementary, the year we entered kindergarten. Fast forward through puberty and to eighth grade, where we were reunited in the back of geography class. We learned that we had recently gotten dogs and coincidentally they were both named Charlie, we enjoyed rock music and playing guitar hero, and we liked to make each other laugh instead of paying attention to the US capitals. Of course, as things go in the eighth grade, my friends had to ask him if he wanted to "go out" with me. On May 12th, 2008, we officially began to "go out," and the rest is history.

Days were spent in class together, and nights at eachother's homes, then on AIM until all hours of the night. In 2012, we graduated from Old Forge High School and faced the biggest challenge to our relationship yet; higher education. Although the weekdays were the most time we had spent apart, weekends were spent together and valued as much as possible. Growing up together, we had learned to lean on each other through the good, the bad, and the ugly, making the "long distance" relationship work. Four degrees, three apartments, and two cats later, Phil proposed on Christmas Eve, 2017. Of course, I said yes (after I said, "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!").

We would like to thank you for all of your love and support over the past decade. We can't wait to celebrate forever with all of our family and friends. Don't forget your dancing shoes!
