We met for the first time in person in a classroom in Early High School and didn’t think much of it. Then, we slowly started to spend more and more time together through Key Club. On one special day, it started like any other. We were ringing bells for the Salvation Army on December 10, 2016, we both were helping on and off throughout the day. For most of it, we sat, drank Starbucks, and laughed. And it just clicked. When we rode to Nanny's that night, joking about how white I was with my Starbucks That’s pretty much when we thought, “Okay. This could be something.” Before I went inside that night, we had our first kiss.

One Wednesday afternoon, I (Madison) decided to propose that same Friday. I couldn't wait for him to propose because I wanted to marry my best friend. I called everyone for a family dinner that night and painted a "Will you marry me?" sign. When the day finally came, Zach took a shower and when he got out Braegan held up my sign and I got down on one knee in front of everyone and popped the question. Of course, he said yes otherwise you wouldn't be reading this.
