Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us!

Connie Martin

Matron of Honor

I met Dani in youth group, where we became best friends, bonding over our love of reading and writing. In high school, I traveled to Ireland, and while there, visited Giants Causeway.

Ryan Applegarth

Best Man

I met Michael at Pastor's Kids retreat when I was in 1st grade, though we started hanging out more in middle school. We remained close friends throughout college, and have remained close well into adulthood. I have lived at 11 different addresses (not counting college) in my 33 years of life!

Cherise Byler

Bridesmaid

I met Dani when Mom, Dad, and Dani traveled to Haiti to to meet me. She is the main reason why I got adopted! I am the only kid in the family that is left handed, though both my parents are also left handed!

Peter Kettering

Groomsman

I met Michael pretty early on. My earliest memory is seeing Michael for the first time in the hospital. I once visited Mount Rushmore and delivered the Gettysburg Address to the crowd of visitors.

Rachel Byler

Bridesmaid

Hi my name is THE Rachel Byler. I’m Dani’s fun sister. You can find me in the gym lifting things up and putting them down, and when I’m not at the gym I like to envision myself laying on the beach sipping on a margarita!

Jamie MacNeil

Groomsman

I met Michael at a bachelor party. We didn’t talk much until we we thrust onto the battlefields of Erangel where we became best friends. As many do, I share an incredible amount of absurd life stories with Michael and look forward to making more. I love cooking and want to compete on top chef one day.

Victoria Byler

Bridesmaid

Danielle and I started off as foes. I was dating her brother, and though we got off to a rough start, we worked it out over an Olive Garden dinner and it's been wonderful ever since! I love her and think of her as a sister. Fun fact: I fulfilled my lifelong dream of becoming a mom in October 🙂

Tim Kettering

Groomsman

I met Michael for the first time in a townhouse in Newville, PA. I remember looking down at him in his crib after spending the weekend at my grandparents with Peter. I was excited to see the"big surprise" everyone kept talking about, and all I could think was "this must be the best toy ever". I had no idea they were talking about a person. Fun fact: I have a compulsive need to build/fix computers and turn things into computers which should never be computers.

Abbey Ramirez

Bridesmaid

Hello! My name is Abbey and I have the honor of being part of the bridal party for my lovely cousin Dani. She’s such a joy to be around and I am excited to see how happy she and Michael are. A fun fact about me is that I bake vegan, gluten free, and soy free cookies!

Regis Grumbaugh

Groomsman

I met Michael as a young man that was in need of good community. What I found in Michael was an older brother, mentor, and peace carrier. But, sometimes I don’t know what he’s saying. I have never seen the color purple (the movie or the hue).

Stephanie Harding

Bridesmaid

Dani and I met at Youth with a Mission and became good friends during our mission trip to South Africa. We bonded over a lot of similarities in our upbringing like being homeschooled, growing up in a large family, and our love for Jesus! I'm grateful to have stayed close even with life changes and distance. I've lived in four different states and have moved nine times in the last 10 years.

Tyler Schurr

Groomsman

I met Dani in high school through our online charter school. I did not think someone could be so popular in a non-physical school, but felt like she had her own fan club! We were both very active in our Student Government, where be became close friends, and have remained close ever since. I am the master prankster in pranks of annoyingly small inconveniences.
