We are so excited to share a few of our favorite places and things in the area.
Make sure to leave enough time to check them out!
Short Sands Beach
York, ME 03909
Our wedding ceremony will over look this popular beach. As the name suggests, its a smaller beach than Long Sands Beach, but still a great beach to swim and hangout all day.
Long Sands Beach
189 Long Beach Avenue, York, ME 03909, (207) 363-1040
Long Sands is the larger of the two beaches in the area. Once the tide recedes, it reveals a nice flat beach for fun in the sun.
The Goldenrod
2 Railroad Avenue, York, ME 03910, (207) 363-2621
Everything Sweet! Old Fashioned Candy, Ice Cream, Food
Nubble Lighthouse
Sohier Park Road, York, ME 03909, (207) 363-1040
We got engaged here and spent many summer nights eating ice cream on the rocks.
Dunne's Ice Cream
214 Nubble Road, York, ME 03909, (207) 363-1277
This is the best ice cream in town...hands down! Plus you can walk to the lighthouse to eat it.
York's Wild Kingdom
1 Animal Park Road, York, ME 03909, (207) 363-4911
This Zoo and Amusement Park is a cool place to spend the day, especially for the kids.
Wiggly Bridge
York, ME 03909
This walk is short, easy, scenic and unique. It starts down a man-made causeway and then crosses a mini- suspension bridge and onto a wooded path.
