Indian weddings are very energetic and fun. Overall, you can expect lots of colors, food, and dancing.
No - we want you to wear clothing you feel comfortable in. If you would like to, though, we recommend Indian attire for the Sangeet and Ceremony. For women, you can look for a Lehenga (a short blouse + long, high waisted skirt) or a Salwar Kameez/Anarkali/Kurta Set (different terms for a long dress + leggings). If it's for the Sangeet, many people enjoy wearing lehengas because the long skirt is very fun and pretty when you dance. For the ceremony, saris are also a beautiful option, but they are much more difficult to put on and will definitely require some help for first-timers. For men, you will be looking for a Kurta, Sherwani, or Jodhpur suit. They are all sets of a fitted top and pants.

The Baraat is the procession of the groom prior to the ceremony beginning. This will take place outdoors in the hotel's main entrance. Daniel will be accompanied by his family, friends, and a Dholi (a drummer who plays the Dhol drum). It's about 30 minutes and a huge blast. This is for all family and friends of the groom, as well as anyone else who is interested in participating.
We will be having traditional Hindu and Jewish ceremonies. The ceremonies will be in English, Sanskrit, Hindi, and Hebrew. -Baraat: The groom's procession -Milni: The welcoming of the groom by the mother of the bride -Traditional wedding ceremonies
