Where should I stay?

Answer

The Cobblestone Inn, is the hotel we have set up a room block at. To use the room block, you must call the hotel and mention the Purtill/Flor wedding. The room block will be available until 10/7. The number is (814) 245-2020. We recommend arriving on Friday 11/8 so that you can make it to our ceremony on time as the hotel has a strict check in time of 3pm and our ceremony begins at 4pm. We have a shuttle that will be picking guests up from the hotel at 3:30 on 11/9 and leaving the reception at 10:00 back to the hotel so that you can enjoy the open bar. There is one other hotel in Saint Mary’s and a few air bnb’s in the area if you would like to stay some place else.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This is a black tie optional event. We ask that men wear a suit and tie and women wear an evening gown or midi or knee-length cocktail dress.

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. The ceremony is set to begin at 4pm so we ask you to arrive by 3:45pm in order to give you time to get situated.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be! 3 beers on tap, some hard liquor and a white, red and pink wine!

Are kids welcome?

We ask that you please check your invitation. While there may be some children there, it is our intent to keep this as much of an adult event as possible. Thank you.

What will the weather be like?

Central PA can run hot or cold this time of year, but we anticipate 50-60 degrees during the day and 30-40 degrees at night.

Where should I park?

The venue has a large parking lot. Or, leave your car at the Cobblestone Inn and use our shuttle!

When does the shuttle leave the hotel?

Answer

The shuttle will leave the hotel promptly at 3:30pm and arrive at the venue at 4:00pm. The ceremony will begin at 4pm.

When will the shuttle arrive back at the hotel?

Answer

The shuttle will leave the venue at 10:00pm and will arrive back at the hotel at 10:30pm.
