What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional. We would love to celebrate with our friends and families in their finest attire! Feel free to break out an old tux, or just wear a suit and tie. Whether you have a floor length or a cocktail length dress, we hope that you feel your best! We request that you avoid wearing white, jeans, or other casual attire.

Can I bring a date?

While we wish we could invite every friend and family member, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

What are the transportation options for getting to the Lakehouse?

Answer

You are welcome to drive your own car, if you prefer. Parking is available and free of charge to all guests. There will be parking attendants at The Lakehouse to help you find a spot. We will also provide a shuttle bus between the Fairfield Inn in Plymouth and The Lakehouse. The bus will depart the Fairfield Inn at 5:05pm, and will depart from the Lakehouse at the end of the reception.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please plan on arriving no later than 5:45 to ensure that you are not late to the ceremony,

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather depending, we will hold the ceremony outdoors overlooking the lake. If the weather forecast looks poor, we will hold the ceremony indoors. Cocktail hour and the reception will be held indoors, but guests may enjoy the lovely patio and Lakehouse grounds for some fresh air whenever they choose.

As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only event.

When should I book my hotel?

Answer

Please book your hotel as soon as possible. We are able to add rooms to the room block, but can only do so as long as there is hotel availability.
