Making it Official

Once upon a time, in 2008, Rachael told a hilarious dad joke and a mutual friend said “have I got the guy for you!” A double date was set up and everyone lived happily ever after. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as simple as that. Think “When Harry Met Sally”. In 2009 Rachael deployed to Iraq for a year and Jeremy’s career took him to Arkansas. Having moved on Rachael ended up in Massachusetts and Jeremy went to Florida. By 2017 both Rachael and Jeremy made their way back to North Carolina for good. They stayed in touch, but didn’t try to date again until February 2021. May 4th 2022, with Danielle and Sam’s help, Jeremy had designed Rachael’s dream engagement ring and completely surprised her after work one night! Making up for lost time they got engaged and pregnant! Baby Archie was born in August and made everything perfect. Since then they’ve been building a perfectly imperfect life and loving every minute of it.
