SJO is the primary airport serving San José, the capital of Costa Rica. Alaska Air flys non-stop out of LAX. Delta, Southwest, American and United also have routes to SJO.

The drive to Manuel Antonio is about 3 hours south of San José. If your flight gets in kinda late you can stay 1st night in San Jose, then travel to Manuel Antonio in the morning. Also an option to stay here the night before you fly home if the flight home is an early one.
