What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Some of you may have noticed that your invitations said that our ceremony begins at 4:30pm. Our ceremony will ACTUALLY BEGIN AT 4pm. Please plan to arrive at the Mountain Wedding Garden between 3:15pm and 3:45pm. Thank you!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as possible :) We ask that you RSVP definitively by May 15th.

We definitely want to make sure everything is as easy as possible for you. What should I wear?

Answer

We really want everyone to just be comfortable and have a great time celebrating with us in the mountains. For the guys, a nice button down and slacks are perfect, so please don't feel like you need to wear a suit or a tie unless you really want to. For the ladies, a pretty summer dress is great. Since we will be outside in the fresh air, we just want you to wear something you feel good in so you can enjoy the day and stay relaxed.

Can I bring a plus one or my children?

We would love to have your significant other or your little ones join us to celebrate. We just ask that you please specify who you will be bringing when you RSVP so we can have everything ready for them. If you have any questions or need to make a special request for an additional guest, please just reach out to us directly. Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, the Mountain Wedding Garden comfortably fits about 20 cars. You are also welcome to park in Crested Butte at the 4-Way, where the Mountain Express bus runs every 15 minutes to Mount Crested Butte.

Where should we stay for the wedding?

Answer

Since our wedding is on July 3rd, one of the busiest weekends in the Crested Butte area, we highly recommend booking accommodations early. Unfortunately, hotel blocks were not available for our wedding weekend, so guests will need to book accommodations individually. Staying in Crested Butte or Mount Crested Butte will put you closest to the venue, but lodging fills up quickly during holiday weekends. If those areas are booked or outside your budget, Gunnison is a great option about 30 minutes away with many hotels available. Is there transportation between Gunnison and Crested Butte?

The valley has a free bus system called the RTA (Regional Transportation Authority) that runs between Gunnison, Crested Butte, and Mount Crested Butte throughout the day.
