The King Center for Nonviolent Social Change (founded by Coretta Scott King in 1968) not only hosts tons of amazing archives, but it's also situated on Auburn Avenue right next to Dr. Martin Luther King Junior's birth home and the famous Ebenezer Baptist Church where King preached from 1960 until his death.
Tiny Doors ATL is an Atlanta-based art project by Karen Anderson Singer. You'll find the 7-inch doors, which are tiny sculptures, around ATL. They are designed to reflect the spirit, architecture, and other unique elements of the surrounding community. The High Museum of Art is a leading art meseum in the Southeast and it's located right in Midtown, Atlanta. With more than 15,000 works of art in its permanent collection, the High has an extensive anthology of nineteenth- and twentieth-century American and decorative art; significant holdings of European paintings; a growing collection of African American art; and burgeoning collections of modern and contemporary art, photography, folk and self taught art, and African art. The High is also dedicated to supporting and collecting works by Southern artists.
Six Feet Under is a casual restaurant and bar with a rooftop overlooking the historic Oakland Cemetery. After lunch, take stroll through the cemetery (founded in 1850, and now a beautiful public park) for a unique perspective of Atlanta history. In the cemetery, you'll see the final resting place of approximately 7,000 Confederate soldiers, the African American grounds, the Jewish Grounds, and the headstone of notable Atlantan's like Bobby Jones and Margaret Mitchell.

Ponce City Market is a mixed use development in the historic Sears warehouse located in the Historic Fourth Ward neighborhood. The project was done by the same developers as Chelsea Market in NYC, so you'll get a similar vibe here. Lots of retail, food hall with iconic ATL foods, and a rooftop with mini golf (note - there is a fee to get to the rooftop).
