Through the turmoil that 2020 brought us all, we are so excited to come together with our closest friends and family. We have chosen to have a smaller scale wedding in a place that we love. We hope you can celebrate with us!
In June 2014, Allison just graduated college and was excited to start a job in her chosen industry at Cumulus Media. Meanwhile in Connecticut, Josh was putting into motion his plans to make a cross county move from Connecticut to San Francisco to pursue his career in Sports Journalism at...Cumulus Media. They spent a few months in the same office not taking much notice of each other, that is until the holiday party when Josh saw a brown haired girl with big glasses walk across the room, something hit him, and it wasn't just the tequila. Both of us starting attending after work happy hours just to brush elbows. Whatever was happening was bigger than workplace banter. In 2016, we decided to hang out outside of happy hours and it was the best decision. Fast forward five years through too many camping trips to count, hikes, beach days, trips to visit great friends, lazy afternoons, adopting our sweet fur baby Oscar, a lot of cheese, and many good bottles of wine, to us visiting one of our favorite places, Dinant, Belgium, and deciding we wanted to do happy hours together for the rest of our lives. Shoutout to Catie who took a chance on becoming friends with the outlandish East Coast guy who loved music and was always down for a hang; AND alongside Allison's dear family friend, Karynann, also took a chance on hiring her for the job at Cumulus in the first place. We are so honored to have met the people we have met through each other and the friendships we have forged throughout our story. We know how lucky we are too have found each other, and we know it was worth the wait.
