We’re getting married!

Shannon first reached out to Brenden on Instagram in 2021, after the two had followed each other for some time. Although he saw her message, Brenden did not reply at the time. Shannon, however, was undeterred. A year later, she tried again, and this time Brenden finally responded. After one unsuccessful attempt at planning their first date and several weeks of exchanging messages, they eventually met in person. What began as an ordinary afternoon quickly became one of the most memorable moments of their lives. While Shannon was on the phone with Carmen’s doctor, Brenden quietly went upstairs with McKenna. From its hiding place, he carefully brought out the ring he had chosen for Shannon, placing it gently in McKenna’s little hands. When Shannon finished her call, Brenden carried McKenna downstairs and set her in Shannon’s lap. As Shannon looked down, she saw the ring in McKenna’s hands—a sweet, perfect surprise that carried the most important question of all.
