WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? Our welcome dinner dress code is cocktail attire. The Wedding dress code is garden party (without the fun hats) semi-formal. We are specifically requesting no sequins and no black. Please be mindful about shoe choice, as the ceremony will be hosted on sand.
WHO IS GOING TO BE THERE? We have decided that we would like to keep our wedding a small affair for just immediate family.
WHAT IF I'M LATE? The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm. We recommend that guests arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony so there is time to mingle and find a seat. We hope that you will work hard to be on-time so you can see us become husband and wife! If you happen to be late, our coordinator will let you know if they are still allowing guests in or if you will need to wait until the ceremony is over. If that happens, you will still be able to attend the reception, so please hang tight and we will see you then. Thanks for understanding!
WHERE DO I SIT? The ceremony will be open seating with just enough seats for our limited number of guests. Everyone will sit at one long table together at the reception where there will be assigned seating, displayed by placecards.
WILL THE CEREMONY/RECEPTION BE HELD INDOORS OR OUTDOORS? Our ceremony will be held outdoors, so be sure to check the weather and come prepared! Our reception will also be outdoors, but will be underneath a pavilion. The pavilion will also serve as a rain plan if necessary (fingers crossed!).
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY? Our ceremony will be “unplugged,” meaning that no personal photos will be allowed once the ceremony has begun. Don’t worry- we have a wonderful photographer and will be happy to share photos with everyone!
