George and I "viewed" each other and started talking on pof, better known as Plenty of Fish, in the Summer of 2016. We chatted casually on and off for a few weeks before finally deciding to meet for the first time for a day date in Columbia, SC. For any of you who don't know what Pho is, well let me tell you all about it. Pho is a Vietnamese dish that consists of rice noodles cooked in a flavorful broth, to which you can add meat, bean sprouts, onions, mint leaves and FRESH (UNSEEDED) JALAPENOS. George and I met up and then decided to try out the local Vietnamese cuisine in town. Needless to say, it was quite a learning experience that day because little did Brandii know, but there is quite a difference between fresh and pickled jalapenos as far as the heat index is concerned. It was a thousand a plus degrees in Columbia that day, I had met a beautiful Honduran man, just tried some of the best soup of my life, and my mouth was burning hotter than the sun above us. It is quite a funny story to hear us tell aloud, but none the less I'm sure you get the gist of it. From there on out we again kept casually in touch with each other as George was soon to deploy out to California for some lengthy field training and would be gone for a couple of months. Of course we kept in touch the entire time, thank goodness for cellphones right? When he finally got back home it was just a few days before Thanksgiving and we decided to spend it together...from there on out we have been attached at the hip ever since! Fast forward a few years and here we are, literally a few months away from our marriage!
