Flashback to 2013: Two bright-eyed freshmen move into the Santa Lucia engineering dormitory, at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and instantly hit it off. We were fast friends and found comfort in late study nights together, and exciting weekend adventures with friends. We watched eachother learn and grow as individuals throughout college, and fell even more deeply in love as our true personalities emerged and complimented one another. Our relationship elevated to the next level when we had our first child... the majestic and loveable Kona. This ball of joy [and the associated mass of fur] entered our lives in the springtime of our junior year, and thus began the rest of our lives as the three amigos. Whether car camping in the desert, binging on spicy tuna rolls, or simply enjoying a quiet morning coffee walk to the beach; life is always best when we are together. After moving in together in Hermosa Beach, life together only improved. As a dual-engineer household, our headstrong spirits can occasionally take hold, but we always find ourselves on the same side at the end of the day (except for when it comes to Mario Kart). Normally, quarantining with someone in a 400 sq ft. apartment would be disastrous; but even with the social isolation, we have continued to laugh often and consistently find the silver lining. We are soulmates and best friends, and can't wait to begin this new journey together. Thanks for reading!
