Despite being told by a coworker not to “get any ideas” when Andrea first came in for an interview at Mike’s company in 2017, Mike and Andrea began a friendship at work right away. Months of working, and laughing, together has since turned into years of full of memories, love, and great ideas.

Our ordinary fall hike turned extraordinary on 10/23. With a ring in his pocket, Mike distracted Andrea with a fake deer sighting so he could get down on one knee. Underestimating how dedicated Andrea would be to seeing this “deer,” Mike waited for several minutes on the forest floor until Andrea finally turned back and instantly shouted, YES!
