Our wedding dress code is black tie encouraged/ formal attire. A nice cocktail dress, midi or maxi dress, or floor length gown are all perfectly suitable, as is a pantsuit! For men, suits with a tie/ bow tie are perfect-although we won't stop you from wearing a tuxedo with tails and a top hat if that's how you want to roll. If you know the bride, then you know that she would love for everyone to come dressed like it's the MET Gala. Go all out if it suits your fancy! Wear a hoop skirt and birdcage on your head, use this as an excuse to buy the dress you've had sitting in your cart for five months, or wear your trusty "wedding guest dress" that makes you feel comfortable. We want you to feel your best, have fun, and be ready to party! Although the bride is from the south, please no denim (unless you're recreating the iconic jean dress worn by Britney Spears to the 2001 American Music Awards).
Yes! We are excited to have children join us on our special day! However, please note that our wedding will include some adult-oriented music, alcohol, and louder elements, which may not be ideal for some younger guests. We want everyone to enjoy the celebration, so please use your discretion when deciding what’s best for your little ones. We have reserved the entire property, and if your little one needs a moment of quiet during the exciting day, the inside of the historic home will be available.
We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you’re confused, when you go to RSVP on our website it will guide you through your party size. If you have any more questions, please reach out!

The ceremony will be outside on the lawn weather-permitting (ditch the stilettos). The reception will be under the tent and on the grounds/ in the garden. The inside of the historic home will also be open to guests.

Please refer to the “travel” tab on our website! We have blocked some rooms off at a hotel, but we also highly recommend looking on AirBnb (especially if you plan to come with a group).
There will be plenty of parking at our venue! No need so stress about finding a spot.
Yes! All restrooms are located inside the historic home. One of them is handicap accessible.
