We’re getting married!!

Pablo and Tori went to Pitt State together but their paths didn't cross much. Then summer 2017, Pablo was living in Kansas City, Tori still at PSU... Their mutual friend Lauren Bever asked Tori to go to a concert with her in KC, Tori being responsible, asked Lauren where they would stay... Lauren said "Oh we can stay with Pablo, it'll be fine," Tori said she didn't know him but eventually agreed. Tori and Lauren continued to make the trip to Kansas City to go to Hot Country Nights and stay on Pablo's air mattress, Pablo never made the move during that whole summer, Tori didn't even know Pablo was really interested in her. They spent their summer drinking and just being casual friends, UNTIL........

On December 31,2017 Pablo had a big New Years Eve party at his apartment in Power and Light, many people from PSU showed up to pregame until they made the walk (in -6 degree weather). Tori, Lauren and Sabrina got to the party late, of course, and Pablo had been drinking LOTS of Jim Beam. With this liquid courage in him, Pablo walked up to Tori and said "are you going to be my new years kiss tonight?" Tori looked at him with some confusion and said "Um... no," then she ran and told her friends. Of course they said just do it, it'll be fine, or he'll forget. When 11:59 rolled around Tori still had this in the back of her mind. When the countdown started 10...9...8..... Pablo started making his way over to Tori, where she began to freak out! ....7....6...5.... He was there, Lauren told Tori to "shut up and do it." ...4....3....2....1 ....The rest is history!

Pablo and Tori have been dating since June 1, 2018. Pablo asked Tori to be his "girlfriend" that evening after their first date to Garozzo's Italian, after she continued to remind him she tells all her friends they are already dating. They have lived in three different apartments in Kansas City and spend the majority of their time watching crime shows and traveling to fun places. Together, they have been through countless wedding parties, a major lockdown in an apartment with no windows and every show imaginable on Netflix and Hulu. On their third anniversary, June 1st, 2021, Pablo got down on one knee and asked Tori to marry him in Charleston, South Carolina. He was so excited he forgot to put the ring on her finger! It's finally our turn to tie the knot, Cheers!!
