No, Preston and Shannon are blessed to have nine niblings, and several friends with children, so there will be many tiny humans at this event. If you have small children, we have already factored them into our guest list. Please remember to include them when RSVPing, so we get an accurate count of how many children's meals are needed.
The dress code for this event is Semi-formal. Button down shirts, slacks, jumpsuits, and dresses are all welcome! Suit Jackets, vest, ties, and bowties are optional but encouraged. The family members of the couple are asked to dress in the wedding colors, which are teal and gold.
The Vow Renewal Ceremony will be held on the property at Rockin' Horse. Depending on the weather, the ceremony may be outside at the gazebo or inside the venue hall. Please remember to bring a coat with you!
The Reception will also be held on the property at Rockin' Horse. Cocktail hour, dinner, and all other reception festivities will be located in the venue hall. Depending on the weather, the patio area outside may be open for those who wish to sit by a bonfire and enjoy the cool winter air.
Rockin' Horse is located at 245 Arundel Rd, Kennebunkport, ME 04046. It is about an eight minute drive from Downtown Kennebunkport and a twelve minute drive from Biddeford.

The Vow Renewal Ceremony will be an unplugged ceremony. The couple has paid for the services of a professional photographer so please, turn off your phones and keep them in your pockets or purses until after the ceremony concludes.
Yes, there will be a cocktail hour between the end of the ceremony and the beginning of the reception. Guests are should snack, sip, and chat during this time. The couple will be taking photos on the grounds and will reappear when the DJ announces their grand entrance.
Yes, there will be an open bar at the Vow Renewal Reception. Guests will be able to enjoy a variety of wines, beers, ciders, and hard seltzers during Cocktail hour and the Reception. Hard liquor will be limited to the specialty cocktail chosen by the couple.
An assortment of appetizers will be served during Cocktail Hour. Dinner will be served buffet-styled with salads served family-style at the individual tables. A vegetarian entree will be among the choices for our guests with dietary restrictions. Kids meals will consist of chicken fingers and french fries. An assortment of deserts will also be provided.

Preston and Shannon come from two very different families; one that dances and one that does not! In order to make everyone happy, a variety of activities will be available to entertain guests at the reception. A DJ and dance floor will cater to those with fancy feet and an assortment of party games will amuse those less inclined to boogie.
Yes, first, there is only one indoor restroom available at the venue. We ask that you leave this open for our mobility-impaired guests and those with children. A portable restroom will be located outside for everyone else to use. Second, there will be a space available for guests to go if they become overwhelmed at any point during the night. This quiet space is located just outside the venue hall in a small outbuilding. It is heated, and contains a couch, and refrigerator that the couple will stock with water. Please utilize it if you need a moment to yourself. The couple asks you to respectfully share the space with others who may be seeking out their own peaceful moment there.
