KatieJo's pronouns are they/them and they prefer the term 'nearlywed' before the ceremony and 'newlywed' after (instead of 'bride'.) If you would like to wear a pronoun pin to help others use the correct ones, please do so. If you are unsure of an individual's pronouns the easiest thing to do is introduce yourself with your pronouns. "Hi I'm Jane Doe. I use she/her pronouns." This allows others to give the opportunity to share whatever pronouns they would like you to use for them.
Absolutely! We will have kid-friendly foods and beverages. We only ask that parents keep children off the plants/foliage/landscaping as we are liable for damages. If parents of young children would like to bring a playpen or child play gate, please feel free to do so. We want all your littles to be safe and have a good time.
There are roughly 20 spots in the parking lot and ample free street parking within walking distance. If you are able to walk a block or two, we request the parking lot be left for those who may need a closer parking spot. We highly recommend carpooling if you able to.
Yes. Trying our best to accommodate the unique needs of our guests is incredibly important to us. There is ONE handicap parking space in front of the building and a wheelchair ramp to the kitchen inside. If you need extra mobility/disability/neurodiverse accommodations please let us know ahead of time and we will do our best.

We will not be serving alcohol. However, if our guests feel inclined they may bring their own alcohol and consume it responsibly. Please have pre-planned transportation to your accommodations for your safety and do not provide alcohol to anyone under the age of 21. (Lyft/Uber are not easily accessible in Alachua.)
'Dressy' would best describe the dress code. Please do not feel constrained by 'gendered attire'. Wear whatever makes you feel like your best self!
October in Florida can vary. The temps can range anywhere from 85 to 45 with the average temps ranging from 77-60. We recommend packing layers if you are not local. Also, an umbrella is recommended.

Yes! We will have an area available for those needing to step away from social engagements for a moment. Please respect the following rules for quiet spaces: Limit talking to a minimum/move conversations elsewhere Do not ask people personal questions (ex. Are you okay? etc.) If the lights are dimmed, please leave them dimmed. Headphones are required for music/videos etc. A few sets will be available in a basket. If you use a yoga mat, please wipe it down with the provided wipes. The grounds are also a tranquil place to take a moment for yourself (please stay off plants/landscape).
