Open Saturdays and Tuesday from 8am - 1pm in the Railyard. Lively scene with food, local artist stalls, and music. Stop by 2nd Street or Nuckolls Brewing for a brew & a bite between pursuing the market.
Museum of International Folk Art
One of our favorite museums in town, located on Museum Hill, near the Botanical Gardens and Museum of Indian Arts & Culture.

While our ceremony is being held here, you can also visit the museum and explore what's on exhibit (rotating).
Georgia O'Keeffe House Museum
Spend 75 minutes with an expert guide as you explore Georgia O’Keeffe’s historic home and garden. Spend time in the patio, sitting room, dining room, kitchen, pantry, and laundry room. End your tour in O’Keeffe’s studio and bedroom. Ages 10+. Book far in advance!

Pecos National Historical Park
About 30 minutes from downtown, exploring this park is a great way to learn about the history of the surrounding area.
Bandelier National Monument
About an hour drive from downtown. Petroglyphs and dwellings carved into rock cliffs–this makes for a perfect day trip from Santa Fe.
Plaza Blanca
Amazing hiking! About an hour from Santa Fe. Make sure you register for the gate access code.
Hyde Memorial State Park
There are dozens of trails for hiking up Hyde Park Road - which is a beautiful drive in its own right with places to pull over and enjoy the view, if hiking isn't your jam. For hiking, we love the Borrego, Big Tesuque, and Nambe Lake trails. But you can't go wrong with anything you find on AllTrails.
Dale Ball Trails
There are hundreds of amazing hikes within a short drive from downtown. The Dale Ball Trails are an extensive trail system we frequent with our pup, Pepita.
Green River Pottery
This is where Sophie does all her pottery! There's a small gallery with Sophie's teacher, Theo Helmstadter work, open Monday - Saturday from about 10am - 5pm. Also on Lena Street is Whisky & Clay (another local pottery gallery), Ozu (a cute Japanese restaurant), Bread Shop (for coffees, cookies, sandwiches, etc.), and a few galleries.
La Choza Restaurant
A Santa Fe staple for classic New Mexican food. The first time we went here was with Uncle Robert & Aunt Jeanette! There's often a wait & they don't take reservations, but we usually grab a marg from the bar and wait for our table outside.
