Can children attend any of the wedding weekend events?

Answer

In order to allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make all our events on Thursday and Friday adults-only celebrations. We thank you for your understanding. Children may join us at Saturday brunch. We'd love to be able to see them!

Do you have any recommendations for local childcare help in Charlottesville?

Are all guests invited to Thursday evening's Welcome Cocktail Reception and Saturday Brunch?

Answer

Yes! We'd love to see everyone who can join us Thursday evening and Saturday morning.

Question

Will there be transportation to wedding events?

Answer

On Friday, round-trip transportation will be provided to and from St. Thomas Aquinas Church for our ceremony, as well as to and from Veritas Vineyards later that evening for our reception. The buses will pick up and drop off at The Draftsman Hotel and The Hampton Inn Downtown. There will be shuttles returning guests back to the hotels early from the reception for those who'd like to use them. Please check back here closer to the wedding date for exact pickup times.

Can I drive to the church/venue and leave my car overnight?

Answer

Yes. You may drive and leave your car in the church parking lot and pick it up by 8 am. You may also drive to Veritas Vineyards and leave your car in their parking lot to be picked up by 10 am Saturday morning.

Are the wedding ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony is indoors at a church. The wedding reception at Veritas Vineyards will be mostly indoors. Cocktail hour will be under a covered patio if weather is nice. Guests are also welcome to explore the vineyard grounds if they'd like.

If your ceremony begins at 2 pm, and reception begins at 6 pm, what do I do in between?

Answer

We have quite a few suggestions of some of our favorite places and recommendations around Charlottesville on our "Things To Do" tab- have a look! We only suggest you plan to be ready for reception transportation by 5:00-5:15 pm. Exact pickup times will be posted closer to our wedding date.

I received a Save-the-Date, but have not yet received an official invitation. What do I do?

Answer

We're sorry your invitation has not made its way to you quite yet and hope it does soon. You may submit your replies here by navigating to our RSVP tab. (Yes, you are still invited!)
