Yes. We are requesting Formal Garden Attire. Men: Suit and Tie While the black suit is always acceptable, a garden wedding is the perfect time to bring out other shades! Because this is an evening event, please steer clear of seersucker or other daytime motifs. Ladies: Cocktail Dress or Long Dress When attending a formal garden wedding you can not go wrong with a cocktail length, tea length, or long, elegant dress. This is an evening event, so please steer clear of sundresses or casual prints and fabrics. Because the event takes place in our yard, block heels or heel protectors are recommended. We don't want anyone twisting an ankle!
Nothing is cuter at a wedding than little kids dancing under the stars, but we want our wedding to be your night off! That's why we've arranged for a babysitter for cocktail hour and dinner. Children can join the party for dancing and cake.
Yes. Parking is available at Seton Catholic School, 6923 Stow Rd. Beginning at 4:15pm a shuttle will travel between the parking lot and house. The shuttle will be available throughout the evening should you need to leave early, and will begin making regular trips back to the parking lot at 10:00pm. For those guests who reside in Cleveland or are staying in the Cleveland area, we are offering shuttle service to and from the wedding - so you can partaaay. The shuttle will leave Ohio City at 3:15pm, making stops in Independence and Aurora before dropping guests off at the home. The return shuttle will leave Hudson at 10:30pm. If you'd like to take advantage of this transportation, please RSVP for the Cleveland shuttle by visiting our RSVP page.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Yes absolutely. Please send any special meal requests or dietary restrictions to ampexist@yahoo.com no later than August 14th. We will do our best to accommodate.
We will be following all Ohio state guidelines. Masks are required for unvaccinated guests indoors, and we ask that if you are unvaccinated, you make an effort to respect social distancing while outdoors. If you don't have a mask, one will be provided for you. Please be respectful of others during the event and do your part. There will be elderly guests, and guests with health concerns that may put them more at risk of an adverse outcome should they contract COVID-19, in attendance.
