If it weren't for the University of Findlay College of Pharmacy, Austin and Emma never would've met. There's no exact date to when they met since they were classmates for nearly three years before sparks flew. It was a text that following summer that started the journey to forever. With Emma in Southern Indiana and Austin in Columbus, Ohio, distance didn't stand a chance at stopping the sparks from flying. When it was finally time to return to Findlay at the end of the summer, Austin asked Emma out on their first date to the Columbus Zoo. As you may have guessed, that date was a success!

Since taking Emma to the zoo, Austin has continued to take her on numerous adventures and support Emma on her adventurous ideas. During the fall of their P4 year, Cozaar, the leopard gecko, joined them on their adventure. While he is very cute, they felt they needed a pet that could physically tag along for the adventures. So the summer before their P5 year, in comes Revia, the dog! And just like that, the four of them are ready for the wild ride that is the adventure of life.

Austin and Emma packed all their things into a UHaul and took off to Cleveland to start their year of P6 rotations. This year had them all over the city working with MetroHealth. It also provided the opportunity for them to roadtrip out to Whiteriver, Arizona to spend a month on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation. Before leaving for this month long adventure, Austin got down on one knee and popped the question. You probably wouldn't guess this, but Emma said yes!

After celebrating the grand achievement of becoming Doctors of Pharmacy with their friends in Findlay, they moved to Scott Depot, West Virginia. Here, Austin started his career as a pharmacist working night shift at Cabell Huntington Hospital and Emma began her career with Walgreens. Their schedules allowed them to go on many roadtrips, but while exploring they realized West Virginia wasn't where they wanted to build their lives. So off they went once more, heading further south along US Route 23 to Waynesville, North Carolina.

Now settled in their new home in Waynesville, Austin and Emma are enjoying exploring all the Asheville and Western North Carolina has to offer. Austin is transitioning to working retail pharmacy for Walmart while also keeping up his hospital knowledge working part time at the regional hospital. Emma has switched to working for the local grocery chain, Ingles.

Currently, Austin and Emma are planning the details of their wedding and are excited to celebrate their love with all of you! This is the start of the rest of their lives.
