getting around
MTA: The nearest subway station to Hank's is Myrtle Ave which services the J, M, and Z Line. Using public transit is the fastest and cheapest way to get around the city. You can use tap-to-pay with your phone or credit card at the turnstiles in lieu of getting a MetroCard, or you can purchase one at any station. You can also navigate easily using Apple or Google Maps, just select “Transit” as your method of transportation. Ride sharing apps: Uber and Lyft are reliable in the area both day and night. Drivers typically pick you up in a few minutes once called. Taxis: It’s unlikely you’ll be able to hail a taxi on the street in Bushwick, but NYC Yellow Cab does have a fleet based in the area. They are available 24 hours a day, and the number to call is 1-866-983-4195. Citi Bikes: You can take a Citi Bike just about anywhere. Download the Citi Bike app for instructions and docking station locations.

Kennedy International Aiport: 40 minute drive / 50 minutes via public transit Newark Liberty International Aiport: 55 minute drive / 1 hour 20 minutes via public transit Grand Central Station: 25 minute drive / 35 minutes via public transit Penn Station: 35 minute drive / 40 minutes via public transit Street parking in the area is very limited. There are lots of garages scattered around, but we recommend taking a train or an Uber/Lyft if you're within driving distance. Please note that driving times listed above are just estimates - traffic will depend on the time and day.
