A pretty square surrounded by boutiques, a variety of food, and more just 30 miles from Stephenville. Think Gilmore Girls setting especially if you can catch a festival weekend.

Lucky Vines Vineyard & Winery

Just a mile out of town you can experience Texas wines and catch some live music.

Stephenville Historical House Museum

Before or after the chapel ceremony, feel free to wander around the grounds.

Tarleton State University

Beautiful campus to tour.

Fossil Rim Wildlife Center

Take a safari ride through this gorgeous wildlife habitat with most endangered species. Feed the giraffes and stop at the top of the hill to feed yourself while taking in stunning views. One of our favorite activities in the area!

Dinosaur Valley State Park

Great hiking area where you could see an actual dinosaur footprint with lots of other outdoor activities set on the Paluxy River about 27 miles from Stephenville.

Dinosaur World

An easy walk through beautiful scenery and life size dinosaurs. There is an indoor walk and playground as well. Arcadio gives it two thumbs up.

The Purple Goat

One of our favorite Sunday lunch spots for the variety, open air seating, and playground for the kids.
