We're getting married!

With technology and the internet at our finger tips, people can connect in so many ways. They didn't meet in the traditional sense like in high school or a coffee shop, but through the online dating app called Tinder. Yes, you read that right. Tinder. They chatted over text for a few days then decided to meet up for a walk at Saginaw Valley State University where Kiara was a student. Little did either of them know that there was going to be a bit of confusion on Kiara's part once they finally met. On Tinder, members can match with multiple people and message privately between those matches. Kiara was also chatting with another match alongside Corbin and thought she made plans with the other person. So when Corbin arrived at the meeting spot, Kiara was baffled and a bit embarrassed. Kiara admitted to the mix up and they shared a laugh then departed on their walk. Corbin and Kiara had been inseparable for weeks after that, until Kiara went on a trip out of state. When Corbin picked Kiara up from the train station they both confessed how a week apart made them realize that they were in love with each other. From that moment on May 20th, 2017, they were officially a couple. It goes to show that online dating isn't all that bad!
