I may have first heard about Samson through my dad, but from the very first FaceTime call, something in my heart told me—'this guy is the one for me.' It wasn’t just the way he spoke or the way he made me laugh; it was the way conversation with him felt so natural, as if we had known each other forever. From that moment on, our connection only grew deeper. Through countless texts, late-night FaceTime calls, and endless conversations, we got to know each other—our likes, dislikes, dreams, goals, and everything in between. We shared our passions, our fears, and the little details of our daily lives. Somewhere in the midst of all of that, we both realized something: there wasn’t a single day that passed where we didn’t talk to each other. But more than that, we *didn’t want* to go without talking to each other. What started as simple conversations soon became the foundation of a bond that neither of us could imagine life without. Between the deep, serious talks and the lighthearted, silly moments, we both came to understand one thing—we were in love. And as much as we cherished the connection we had, we knew that love alone wasn’t enough; we wanted to be sure we were walking in the path God had for us. So, we sought His guidance. We prayed, we listened, and we waited for His direction. And in His perfect timing, He made it clear—this was right, this was meant to be. From the very beginning, God had paved the way for us to find each other. Every moment, every conversation, every step led us closer to this decision: to become one, to choose each other for life, and to honor Him in our journey together.
