It runs from George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate to Theodore Roosevelt Island, passing through beautiful spots like Old Town Alexandria with stunning views of the D.C. skyline. Getting Started: Popular access points include Old Town Alexandria, Jones Point Park, and Gravelly Point near DCA Airport. Need a Bike? You can rent bikes through Capital Bikeshare, available throughout the area, or local shops like Wheel Nuts Bike Shop in Old Town.

Smithsonian National Zoological Park
A perfect outing for families and animal lovers! Located in Washington, D.C., the National Zoo is home to more than 2,000 animals, including giant pandas. Admission is free, but timed-entry passes are required for all visitors, including infants. We recommend reserving your passes in advance, as same-day passes are limited and can sell out quickly, especially on weekends and holidays. Passes are released 30 days ahead of each date.
