1st district. walking distance to many inner city attractions and lots of public transport options nearby. Closer to the church. About 10-15min drive to the reception venue. Hotel in 1920's style. A block of rooms has been reserved for ProstToPatriarca at the Hilton Vienna Plaza. This special room rate including breakfast and internet will be available until the hotel is sold out. 6/1/2022-6/5/2022 Rates starting at $190 per night. Mike and I will stay there Thursday - Sunday.

Close to the reception venue & Danube. Walking distance to the subway that takes you to the city center within 10min. Quiet, green area, close to water and very affordable rates for a 4* hotel (starting at about $110 a night).

HeyMi Apartments in City Center or AirBnb

For a full-blown Viennese living experience, check out the HeyMi apartments (or similar Airbnb's). They have apartments in various buildings across the city center (1 to 3 bedroom apartments). This would allow you to share an apartment with other wedding guests. Have fun exploring! Or any AirBnB will work!

Shuttle

Shuttle from Church to Reception - Bus von Kirche zur Feier

June 3, 2022 4:30 pm - 5:00 pm

A shuttle will be available to bring you from the church to the reception. There will be a FUN 10 minute walk through the city center from the church to the very special wedding shuttle. If you need accommodations, please let us know and we will arrange alternative transportation directly from the church to the venue with minimal walking. If you prefer to drive, a parking garage is available at the event location and close to the church. Ask us for more information. Bitte gebt uns Bescheid ob ihr einen Platz im Shuttle braucht. Plant einen 10 Minuten Spaziergang durch die Stadt ein. Wenn das nicht geht, bitte Bescheid geben und wir werden ein Taxi bereit halten das euch direkt von der Kirche zur Wolke21 bringt.

Additional notes

Vienna has a great public transport system. Have fun exploring the many subway, tram and train options. You can also use your uber app or call a regular taxi. If you rent a car, parking can be tricky in most parts of the city as we don't have regular parking meters but you need to buy parking tickets in advance (let Niki know if you need help figuring this out). Parking garages are available throughout the city as well.
