Prost to be a Lucas

What a crazy two years it has been! We eloped October 9, 2020 and told no one until our one year anniversary. Canceled a wedding due to COVID, then a deployment, had everything set for Landshut Germany this year and a war broke out. Due to safety concerns and the uncertainty of where the world was going, we decided to move the location within the United States. We fell in love with Maui in 2019 on our week vacation and cannot wait to share that with our close friends and family. Our reception will be from 4pm-7pm on a catamaran for sunset. It will include dinner, open bar, and music. We cannot wait to share with everyone. Ian & Nicole Lucas

Nicole had just moved to phoenix as a traveling ER RN, chasing after close friends and the shenanigans they entailed. Dating is tough, let alone moving states every 3-6 months so she revved up the bumble and hit the ground running. She immediately swiped right on this cutie fire fighter with the most amazing eyes and smile. When they matched she thought there's no way this cutie would be into her. Well, she was thankfully wrong. The first date started off as a disaster. Nicole had Ian running all over town due to giving him the wrong address ( She hadn't been in phoenix even a month!) but it ended in a first kiss at the bar at Top Golf and Nicole's only victory in golf against Ian. A great date turned into brunch the next morning and the rest was history. Those first few months we traveled, laughed uncontrollably, started the Ian & Sadie romance, and I learned he was by far the most fun, entertaining, sweet, thoughtful, and wonderful guy I had ever met. It was incredibly to easy to fall in love with him. Four years later, TWO more dogs, a new house, and a new state I could not be happier to have picked and fallen in love with such an incredible man. Im so glad each and every one of you have been apart of our love story ❤️
