We've spent years loving the hard way, Grant and I. When we met, I was personally working through a challenging transition in my personal life. One of the first things Grant ever did for me was offer to bring me cold medicine and soup if I had no one to help me out while sick. "I'll leave it on your doorstep. You don't even have to see me.", he said. I finally let him take me on a date and he planned a Glow Kayak trip for the two of us under the stars. We paddled out into the no-wake zone, and he spun our kayak in a circle while I laid in his lap getting a video of the night sky and beach lights around us. When we left, he used a water bottle to wash the beach sand off of my feet and took me to dinner at Flounders on the beach. He opens doors, he walks closest to the street with my hand in his, he doesn't complain when my girlfriend's and I drunkenly karaoke Disney tunes on the way back from a night downtown where he's the driver for the millionth time, and he never stops telling me how beautiful I am - inside and out. The list of qualities in Grant Pollard are infinite, abundant, and exactly what I prayed for. I could tell you stories that would make your heart melt for days about the love and care gifted to me by the man I'll become a wife to. For now though, I'll just tell you I cannot wait to become Mrs. Pollard and am insurmountably grateful that you've chosen to share this dream come true with ourselves and our family and friends. XO, the future Mrs. Pollard
