Donovan, my mom, and I decided to go eat at a Mexican restaurant to drink margs. After a few margs in we decided to switch the scenery and head to 501. We were sitting at a little table in the front drinking when Devin and a friend walked in. They came talk to us and we all ended up leaving to head across the street to Route 92. My mom pulled Devin onto the dance floor and that's when she suggested to him that he needed to try and talk to me. That night he added me on snap and we started talking. The next day, he came meet me and some friends and my friend invited him on the boat the next day. That Sunday, I really didn't feel like going and I really didn't think he would show up so I was just laying in my bed but then I got the call that he was already there and I needed to get there. I put my Tito's swimsuit on and the rest is history....

Well if anyone knows me they know that I am at every event for my brother. Devin had asked me to go eat and it just so happened that Jett's game got rescheduled for the same day. I was in a panic because I didn't want to ditch him but I also didn't want to miss my brother's game.... I called my mom to ask her what to do and she suggested that I message him and let him know that I don't miss any of my brother's game but to offer him to come with me and then we could go eat after. I did just that not knowing what he would say. The day came and he picked me up and we went to Jett's game at NISH but little did we know it was going to POUR on us... After the game we went eat at Agave in Youngsville. Devin clowned me when I ordered because all I wanted was one beef taco while he was having 3... After tacos we went sing karaoke with our friends.

I went see our jeweler, Steve Charles Jeweler, the last week of November to pick out the ring. It only took a day and he told me it would take 2-4 weeks for the ring to be ready. Fast forward to December 20, 2022 I got a text from Steve saying the ring would be done on Friday around noon. So I tricked Taylor and told her me and my dad were going try on tux for upcoming Rio Ball and have lunch afterwards but I really got my fam together for lunch to come up with a game plan for a big day!! We came up with the idea of having it on Friday, December 23 at the gazebo in River Ranch and started contacting both of our families so they could be there! The day of Taylor was baking cookies with Aunt Kaitlyn and I told Taylor we were going eat for my sisters pre celebration birthday. While Taylor was getting ready in the bathroom I was pacing back in the living room with her aunt and uncle drinking a beer because I was getting pretty nervous…. To bypass time for her family to leave her house without her knowing we went to Corner Bar and I got her a chocolate martini and we sat and drank so the family could head to Pour. Once I got a text from my dad that they were all ready we left to head that way. I parked near Pour and the gazebo and Taylor got upset with me because I parked far away and we were suppose to go to Rock-N-Sake and it was freezing. Once I put the car in park we both opened the doors but Taylor bolted so I had to run to meet up with her and make sure she went under the gazebo. As we were walking up they had music playing and a photographer acting like she was taking someone else’s pictures. I looked at Taylor and said “I wonder what’s going on here.” She then looked at me started to tear up and I had a speech I said and then asked her the most important question of my life, “Taylor, will you marry me?” She shook her head yes but I asked her if it was a yes.. After she said yes our families came outside and were cheering! BEST DAY OF OUR LIFE!!
