Our story began in a way we never could have imagined—through a game of Cards Against Humanity. It was a fun, relaxed game night hosted by some mutual friends from high school, and neither of us knew that a simple evening of laughter and friendly competition would lead to something special. The next morning, I (Jamie) was pleasantly surprised to see a Facebook friend request from him. I then got the message from him, I was completely grinning from ear to ear. His message said, “I had a nice time with you last night! You're super cool...I hope you start hanging around with us more often! I could get used to seeing you.” I was totally taken aback by how sweet he was, and from that moment on, I couldn’t wait to get to know him better. We didn’t waste any time. We started hanging out with the group more often, and slowly, but surely, our connection grew stronger. The more time we spent together, the more we realized how perfect we were for each other. Falling in Love Over the next several months, we spent countless hours laughing, talking about everything and nothing at all, and learning more about each other. Every moment felt like an adventure, from fun nights out to cozy evenings in. We were both surprised at how naturally everything fell into place. Whether it was discovering mutual hobbies, sharing silly inside jokes, or just supporting one another through life’s ups and downs, our bond deepened most beautifully. The Proposal Fast forward to our 5th Valentine's Day. Josh planned a day date for Valentine's Day/ Jamie's Birthday, but Ohio's Weather did not want to cooperate. Therefore we had to cancel some of our plans. Josh wanted the day to be special even though we had to cancel some of our plans. So, Josh got up to get ready for our day, called me out to the living room. When I walked into the living room, Josh was waiting for me on one knee and he popped the question. And of course immediately I said "YES!"
