Question

When should I arrive on the day of the wedding?

Answer

The Stourhead gardens will be open to our guests one hour before the ceremony and we strongly encourage you to take advantage of that time to walk around the lake. Lee and I didn't have a backup venue for our wedding as Stourhead is one of the most beautiful places we've ever been and we hope you can enjoy the scenery as much as we do.

What should I wear?

Answer

Since our ceremony is so intimate, we would love it if your outfit matched the palette. The property of Stourhead is very old and does not permit high heels on their floors in order to preserve it. Ladies, please opt for a flat shoe or a wedge else you'll be provided with a heel cover and we cannot promise that it won't look silly.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Drinks will be on us and the hangover will be on you! Please make arrangements for transportation on the day of the wedding, or let us know if we can arrange it for you. The sooner we know this the better!

Do you want gifts?

Answer

Not really. More than anything else we want you to arrive safe and sound. If you feel inclined to contribute to our honeymoon fund as well we'd be very grateful. Please rest assured we have everything we need, spending time together with you is what we're most excited about.

What else is there to do in the countryside of England?

Answer

Check in the things-to-do tab for our favorite recommendations in the area. In the time leading up to our wedding we'll be available to spend time with you and hopefully do something together. It's important to us that you become acquainted with where we call home.

Project Zeus is a reference to one of our all time favorite shows, Peep Show. It's hilarious and you should give it a watch if you haven't already.
