We Got Married!

Mr. and Mrs. Pearson

On June 20, 2020, our original wedding date, we got married in a private, intimate ceremony with just our two closest friends! It was beautiful and emotional and we're so very happy with our perfect day! We can't wait to celebrate with you all in August!

An Important Update: We've Changed Our Date!

Friends and Family, As we all know, there is a great amount of uncertainty in the world right now with the current COVID-19 pandemic. We want you, our guests, to be aware that your health and safety is our number one priority when it comes to our wedding. After extensive conversation and a lot of hard decisions, Quentin and I have officially decided to postpone our wedding from June 20, 2020 to August 1, 2020. However, we're not postponing our marriage! We will still be getting married in a private ceremony as planned on June 20, 2020 before our full wedding with everyone in August! We will be formally sending out a card to all of you, our guests, explaining our postponement, as well as new invitations and RSVP cards. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the well wishes during this difficult and confusing time, and we can't wait to see you all to celebrate our marriage in August! We love you all, Lauren and Quentin

Welcome!

Welcome to our wedding website! We are so thrilled and honored that you will be joining us for the most special and exciting day in our relationship thus far! Feel free to take a look around. We can't wait to see you in August!

How We Met

First comes school, then comes marriage... (2014)

When we were in high school, Quentin had a thing for me for the longest time. We texted occasionally and knew each other through high school, but never talked in person. One day we got about a foot of snow and, living in the snow belt, Greenville High School refused to cancel school for the day. My mom told me to text Quentin and ask for a ride because she couldn't get out of the driveway. That was the first time we hung out for a short time. After school that day, we discovered that Quentin left his car lights on all day and his battery had died. We stood in the parking lot and talked for about half an hour while we waited for my mom to come jump his car. The rest is history...

How He Popped the Question

The easiest question I ever had to answer... (May 22, 2018)

We were staying in a hotel room for the night and we woke up around 2:00 AM and just laid in bed, talking. We turned on "Can't Help Falling In Love" by Elvis Presley, sung by Haley Reinhart and danced in the middle of the night. We sat down on the bed and Quentin began telling me everything he loved about me and how I changed his life. Before I knew it, he was down on one knee. It was the easiest question I ever had to answer.
