On November 26th, 2021 Rachel and Luke took family photos at Meadowbrook Nature Preserve. Luke coordinated with Rachel's sister to find the perfect spot. Camp Meadowbrook holds many memories for Rachel. This is where Rachel spent a lot of time camping with her mom as a kid. Luke wanted to incorporate Rachel's family in the proposal and knew it would be important to include her mom. Luke and Rachel started taking couples photos and Luke told Rachel he has a gift for her. Luke gave Rachel an army jacket and said he had something else. He gave her his name tape and asked if she would be willing to wear it forever. She of course said, yes! Luke got down on one knee and asked Rachel to marry her. She said yes, again!
